Oversample for National Survey of Children's Health
{Empty}
MDH contracted with the Census Bureau to sample approximately 8,000 additional addresses (current base is 2500 each year). 67% of those were selected using the same sampling methods as the main NSCH sample, and the remaining 33% targeting Black, American Indian, Asian and Hispanic families. The increased sample and improved data helped to better inform our programs and understand child health outcomes.
