Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Bay West will conduct Vapor Intrusion (VI) investigation activities and oversee drilling contractors at various sites in Minnesota. The investigation activities will evaluate the potential for vapor intrusion and drinking water receptor risks at MPCA closed sites and surrounding properties. Specifically, Bay West will collect analytical soil vapor samples, indoor-air samples, outdoor ambient-air, groundwater, and drinking water samples in addition to overseeing state drilling contractors and SSDS mitigation contractors. Bay West will perform all services and/or construction as per the purchasing manual.
