Contractor met goals for the number of events planned, then asked if we could do an amendment to offer more programs before the end of the grant. We ended up extending the grant by a month to allow a few more events to happen.
Vendor was able to bring out good numbers of participants for the underserved audiences that were the target of this appropriation. From what we saw, the quality of the programming was good and met our goals.
This vendor was more expensive than other vendors providing similar services. The cost of advertising, and especially reporting to the DNR on outcomes of events, seemed to be higher than what other vendors needed to charge for the same services.
This organization has the staff, knowhow and connections to be effective in exactly the work we wanted accomplished under this grant.
