MDA continues the work to modernize their licensing and inspection systems. These improvement activities will create and support electronic systems for conducting licensing and permitting transactions and modernize the department's inspection and customer management systems as stated in Minnesota Statute 17.033. Implementation of a credential fee surcharge will help fund information technology modernization efforts.
