Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: A statewide inventory was needed for all drinking water service line connections to public water supply systems(PWS's). The PWS applied for technical assistance in completing the inventory which was provided by the Contractor. The inventory identifies the service line material and will locate the lead service lines across the state of Minnesota that require replacement. The State of Minnesota meets the EPA reporting requirements for the Lead and Copper Rule Revision adopted on December 16, 2021 with the inventory.
