Contract for conference planning and management of ECN's annual Public Safety Communications Conferences. The result is successful program planning and management of all aspects of the annual Public Safety Communications Conference. Per Minnesota Statutes Chapter 403, ECN, in conjunction with the Statewide Emergency Communication Board, is responsible to make recommendations on the statewide plan for local and private public safety communications interoperability and on guidelines and operational standards necessary to promote public safety communications interoperability within Minnesota, which includes Next Generation 911, the ARMER Radio System, Integrated Public Alert and Warning System, and Wireless Broadband. The Public Safety Communications Conference serves as the vehicle to educate constituents throughout the State of Minnesota about the governance of the Statewide Emergency Communications Board as well as upcoming trends and opportunities to enhance interoperable communications.
