Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The public health infrastructure grant includes funding to build public health staff skills, knowledge and capability around conducting community health assessments and community health improvement plans. Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) 2.0 training is intended to build capacity of assessment and planning practitioners by training them in implementation of this specific framework. NACCHO provided two, two-day Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) 2.0 trainings for the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Local Public Health (LPH) who support assessment and planning initiatives.
