Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Bay West will conduct four quarterly monitoring well sampling and private well sampling events. Bay West will complete sampling result letters and a Monitoring Report. Bay West will utilize a state contractor to replace granular activated carbon (GAC) as necessary. Also, Bay West will oversee a vapor intrusion assessment and conduct soil gas sampling. All subcontracted services, state contractor (lab, vapor investigation drilling and GAC replacement) and non-state contractor (bladders and tubing), will be completed in accordance with the MPCA Purchasing Manual.
