Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: WSP will conduct expanded monitoring activities including groundwater, surface water and landfill gas monitoring activities at the Pig's Eye Landfill (PEL) located in St. Paul, Minnesota (Site). The expanded monitoring activities to be conducted under this work order supplement routine groundwater and surface water monitoring activities being conducted in support of the City of St. Paul that are covered in a separate work order. The expanded monitoring activities include collection of groundwater and surface water samples from an expanded network and expansion of the sampling and analysis plan to support the ongoing remedial investigation (RI). Routine landfill gas monitoring activities are also included.
