Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Braun will conduct a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and prepare a Sampling and Analysis Plan. Braun will oversee the installation of test pits and borings to identify and delineate the extent and magnitude of onsite contamination. Braun will oversee the analytical testing of the samples, prepare a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment report based off of the findings, and submit that report to MPCA for review and approval. Braun will collect building material samples for analysis and prepare a Hazardous Building Survey report based on the findings and then submit the report to the MPCA for review. Braun will follow the current MPCA purchasing manual to obtain all subcontracted services.
