Legal Needs Survey of Older Adults
{Empty}
The Minnesota Board on Aging seeks to identify priority legal needs and specific barriers to Older Minnesotans' access to legal services. Current legal service assessments fail to address the distinct needs of Minnesota’s older adults adequately and often generalize, neglecting the nuanced legal challenges -both substantive and access-related- faced by this diverse population, especially those economically and socially vulnerable. With this project, the MBA hopes to develop a repeatable legal needs survey and get insight about implementation of the survey across the State in such a way that both those currently served under the Older Americans Act as well as those currently unconnected to services would have a voice in the results.
