The Minnesota Board on Aging Legal Assistance Developer sought an entity to assist with the development, supervision, staffing and provision of follow-up legal services for an advance planning legal clinic at the 2025 Wisdom Steps Conference held in Mahnomen, MN. The Wisdom Steps Conference is an annual event supported by the Minnesota Board on Aging to recognize the achievements of Tribal Nations elders associated with the healthy living programming of federal Older Americans Act (OAA). The contractor trained attorneys and legal advocates to assist Indian elders in a pro bono capacity during the conference and supervised/ completed representation obligations as needed following the event.
