Evaluate the contractor's timeliness Justin, our first contractor through this vendor, was not timely. He did not make deadlines and failed to provide updates as to the status of his work. Consequently we fired him and and had the vendor bring in Kevin instead. Kevin met deadlines and gave accurate updates as to his progress. He was sometimes a bit "optimistic" (e.g. estimating that he could do a task faster than he actually accomplished it) but in general did not have issues in this area.

Evaluate the contractor's quality Kevin did good coding. Justin was a mixed bag. Sometimes he did good code. Other times not.

Evaluate the contractor's cost Considering the quality of Justin's work, the cost was far too high. Kevin's cost and quality were in line.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Justin was bad. We let him go and asked the vendor to supply a replacement. Kevin was good. Would hire again.

Describe any negative action taken during the duration of this contract (i.e., termination, pursuit of suspension, etc.): We fired Justin after attempts to performance manage his work failed.
