The result of this Contract was an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Marketing Communications Plan that addresses each step in the marketing communication plan development process for promoting ITS in Minnesota. The finished ITS Marketing Communications Plan consists of communication goals, target audiences, overall ITS message, strategies to reach audience, an implementation schedule and evaluation criteria.
The Contract was necessary to get the knowledge and expertise necessary to complete the ITS Marketing Communications Plan. This unique combination of ITS, marketing and communications skills was not available within the State system.
