Mn/DOT must implement a new Accounting and Procurement solution (PeopleSoft). To accomplish this, Mn/DOT must:
• Reengineer many business processes
• Modify more than 20 business applications
• Replace an additional 11 business applications
• Crosswalk all historical data with the new chart of accounts information for historical reporting purposes
• Modify all financial reporting accross the Agency.

The State has established July 1, 2011 as the full system implementation date.
This agreement will be to work with the current staff to design, develop, program and update several applications that contain accounting information. These systems need to be modified and ready for implementation on July 1,2011 The primary goal of this project is to bring Mn/DOT’s current business applications into compliance with PeopleSoft code block for the applications that the business needs to keep. The applications that will be retired will need to have the data archived but reportable for future needs.

1st Resource was terminated on 03/18/2011 for inappropriate use of MnDOT’s computer equipment and violations of MnDOT’s internet use policies.
2nd Resource was granted an extended 2 week leave during which time he was granted authority to work remotely with a daily review and acceptance of his deliverables by the lead worker. He failed to meet these expectations and his authority to work remotely was terminated on June 14, 2011. He never returned from this leave and quit 22nd Century giving us no notice. Upon review of his work and phone records following his departure we found both time and phone misuse. Working with Consultant services we quantified the value of time and phone charges and recovered them by adjusting the voucher against the invoice for that billing period.
