Work is ongoing. New features and additions to existing web pages/sections are completed within timelines established during the contract year. Visitor stats are collected and a report prepared monthly; delays are due to MN.IT system/software failures. Facebook postings are same day. Updates and upgrades regarding accessibility are ongoing.
Quality is excellent. MCG has exceptional expertise in web design and development, interactive products/services, and audio and video production. They have recently acquired expertise in app design and development, and are able to modify the original version of an app for other mobile devices. They are very knowledgeable and current about accessibility features, and in full compliance with Section 508 requirements and State of Minnesota nonvisual access standards.
The Council has limited federal funds to carry out all projects and activities contained in the Five Year State Plan for FFYs 2012-2016, and allocates dollars across all projects/activities on an annual basis. Suppliers must be able to work within funding constraints and deliver quality products and services with the dollars available.
Very good to excellent. The Council works closely with all suppliers to develop and strengthen partnerships, meet expectation levels, and increase/improve results/outcomes for all customers. Contracts are written in terms of performance and monitored accordingly. Ongoing communication assures that work is completed on time, quality products/services are received, and do overs are avoided to the fullest extent possible. The Council is in contact with MCG almost daily due to the volume and diversity of work tasks, and the need to review new items during development and prior to release.
