The State of Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) suspended all active contracts from July 1, 2011 thru July 20, 2011 due to a Statewide Government shutdown. Consequently, MnDOT is in need of determining contract holders’ claims. The State has determined to make available a third party to assist in resolution of contract claims resulting from the Statewide Government shutdown. This assistance may be required on highway-heavy construction contracts, contracts subject to State-Aid oversight, vertical and building construction contracts (AIA) and professional & technical contracts, among others.
The scope of this contract may include all activities of contract dispute resolution listed below and up to but not including preparation for litigation and expert witness. A separate contract will be negotiated in the event that preparation for litigation or expert witness expertise is required

Contractor did a very good job helping us get started with MN State Government Shutdown claims. Required a lot of experience on the Trauner’s part as we were definitely in uncharted territory.
