The contractor is responsible for maintaining our EDE (Electronic Data Exchange) system. In addition he performs mission critical business and technical support for many of DOR’s Java based systems. He is currently involved in projects to eliminate DOR’s reliance on the State mainframe, move from BEA Weblogic to Oracle Glassfish, implement our eCRV (Electronic Certificate of Real Estate Value) system to 87 Counties statewide, eliminate the use of IBM’s MQ Series middleware, and in providing technical assistance to DOR in the last phase of implementation of our Integrated Tax System (GenTax).

Top quality. Richard Sloss helped develop stanards for development and deployment that our permanent Java Developers still use. His work on our document exchange system kept the system running flawlessly, and made code reuse between it and other systems possible.
rate was towards the top of the scale but the value was definitely there.
