The contractor is responsible for maintaining our EDE (Electronic Data Exchange) system. In addition he performs mission critical business and technical support for many of DOR’s Java based systems. He is currently involved in projects to eliminate DOR’s reliance on the State mainframe, move from BEA Weblogic to Oracle Glassfish, implement our eCRV (Electronic Certificate of Real Estate Value) system to 87 Counties statewide, eliminate the use of IBM’s MQ Series middleware, and in providing technical assistance to DOR in the last phase of implementation of our Integrated Tax System (GenTax).
Needed to keep Existing applications operational by bridging the gap until State employees can be hired. The contractor will provide the knowledge transfer.
