Greater Twin Cities United Way worked with DEED's MN FastTRAC Adult Career Pathways and Governor's Workforce Development Counsil to provide research, facilitation and leadership in the Skills @ Work initiative. This initiative worked with businesses, WSA's, educators, etc to identify local and regional needs and develop a plan to meet those needs. It was necessary to work with Greater Twin Cities United Way because they are the 2nd largest workforce development funder in MN and have established many valuable partnerships with the audience of Skills @ Work.

This was a single source contract because the Joyce Foundation provided funds to DEED for MN FastTRAC Adult Career Pathways, as a requirement of the grant funds were designated specifically to work with Greater Twin Cities United Way and Skills @ Work.

Greater Twin Cities United Way (GTCUW) worked extremely well within the timeline of the project as well as with regards to submitting invoices.
The quality of the work was outstanding, it is clear GTCUW has well established relationships within the metro area that has definitely benifited to the scope of this work.
The cost of this project was extremely reasonable. GTCUW also invested their own funds to this project to enhance a few activities, they demonstrated a high level of committment to this work within the metro area.
As mentioned above, the contractors committment and results was outstanding - exceeded expectations.
