Development of a Concrete Maturity Test Protocol
94262
There are three major objectives of this proposed research - laboratory development of strength-maturity relationships, development of a standard test method for maturity testing and reduced physical testing in the field, and establishment of field strength-maturity relationships. The overall objective of the project is to develop strength-maturity relationships which will allow contractors, field personnel, and materials engineers to estimate the strength of high-pozzolan/SCM and low-w/c concrete pavement mixes in the field, with reduced sampling and testing of concrete.
