Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Veda is a stand-alone analysis and storage tool developed to assist Agencies with the processing, analysis and reporting of intelligent compaction (IC) data on both warm/hot-mixed asphalt and embankment applications. MnDOT continues to gain experience and knowledge from the lessons learned during implementation of IC on our paving and grading projects. With this increased knowledge, there is a need to continue to support the development of Veda such that it can continue to meet the needs of our evolving specifications.
