Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Mn/DOT Database support unit is in need of having one individual experienced infrastructure database administrator to implement the installation and configuration of Oracle Grid control for all of Mn/DOT Oracle 11g database environments by implementing the following licensed Oracle packs: change management, configuration management, provisioning and patch automation, diagnostic and tuning. The contractor will be required to mentor existing database staff on the management, operation and maintenance of the Oracle Grid control utilizing the licensed Oracle management packs.
