Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Trauner provided a quality product even though MnDOT caused a number of inefficiencies to be introduced into the process. While there was significant cost growth in the project, this was driven by the political nature of the project, challenges getting cooperation within the Department to meet timelines and significant concern from the contracting industry. Trauner was very responsive to the changing needs of the project as it progressed and evolved. They were experienced and were able to identify ways to mitigate and resolve problems that helped expedite the final delivery.
