The purpose of this Contract was to perform non-destructive Ground Penetrating Radar to determine pavement layer and Falling Weight Deflectometer tests to determine subgrade strength for structural design at up to 14 locations within the Metro District.

The Contractor completed and delivered all tasks in a timely manner. He responded to phone calls and emails promptly.
Quality of the results was good, although I had to prompt the Contractor a few times for more specific information about a few pavement sections (TH 8, TH 149). Quality of the report, graphs, spreadsheets, etc. was very good.
Cost was very reasonable for all of the work performed.
Overall, the Contractor’s performance was quite good. They did an awful lot of work, collecting large amounts of data with the GPR and FWD on several different roadways throughout the Metro. The information they provided was extremely valuable in our scoping and project development process.
