Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Review CLP’s GIS Data Standards and Minnesota Geographic Metadata Guidelines, set up appropriate schema for the feature classes to be loaded into the geodatabase. Create metadata “subtemplate” for each separate project; this will include location-specific metadata. This task will be weighted more heavily for the Anoka-Ramsey survey as URS and MPCA refine the process and the database subtemplate.

During the process of conforming to the GIS and database standards, some verification of the GIS Standards may need to occur. We will work with MPCA to address any discrepancies or new items that need clarification. URS will provide an accuracy assessment and accuracy statements for the survey data incorporated into the project deliverables. This will include a listing of URS’ layers and 3-digit point codes used when collecting survey information specific to landfills.
