Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The Office of Justice Programs contracted with Agate Software, Inc. to build a customized electronic grant management system (WEGO) in 2003-2004. In 2008, the decision was made to utilize WEGO for two additional divisions in the department, Homeland Security and Emergency Management and the Office of Traffic Safety, resulting in the need to convert the system from the current .asp environment which was no longer supportable to a .net environment and configure the system for the needs of the additional divisions.
