Emergency Workers Decontamination Video
{Empty}
The purpose of the project was to create a video to easily educate fire service personnel about the purpose of, and step-by-step procedure for, full operation of Emergency Worker Decontamination sites. It was needed to provide both just-in-time training as well as annual training for emergency worker decontamination sites that are responsible for responding in the event of an incident either Prairie Island or the Monticello nuclear power plant.

The contract was necessary because neither the DPS Office of Communications nor the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management has staff available with the skills and time or equipment to provide these services. DPS/HSEM and the Office of Communications are also unaware of any state agency that has the staffing available or capable of performing the creative and video production service for these projects.
