Mobile Inventory and Labeling
3113
We are installing PeopleSoft’s Mobile Inventory solution along with a custom Label Printing solution. These solutions will extend and streamline the inventory operations to mobile devices. It will also provide the necessary inventory labeling to help optimize transaction entry by scanning barcodes instead hand keying data. Inventory personnel will be utilizing wireless Windows mobile devices to enter inventory and labeling transactions. These transactions will process through Oracle’s ADF Mobile middleware server and connect to PeopleSoft through synchronous web service calls. The Label Printing solution will utilize a synchronous web service from PeopleSoft directly to the Label Print server. The Label Print Server will transform and send the label print requests to the barcode label printer. Overall, the Mobile Inventory and Labeling solution will streamline transactions, optimize the business process and increase data accuracy.
We’re looking for a senior Java developer to provide defect support during system testing, uat, training and for a short period of time after go-live. The defect support is for our existing delivered and custom transactional based solutions for the PeopleSoft mobile inventory and labeling project. These solutions utilize Oracle’s existing and custom created JSF mobile device web service solutions in JDeveloper/ADF Mobile 11g. Ajax is used to optimize processing and reduce user wait times. These solutions run on Windows mobile devices and connect to PeopleSoft/Oracle SOA server through the ADF Mobile/WebLogic server.
