The Contract is necessary to assist with the implementation of new technologies through the intelligent construction initiative. The Contractor will collect material property data that the State will analyze to formulate correlations between the different technologies. The findings will then be used to assist with further specification refinements/developments.

Due to staff and testing limitations, a contract is necessary to provide the ability to collect associated material property data.
