We had to extend the contract at least once if not more than that. They had some turnover in graduate students.
The over-all quality was adequate. I was concerned at points during the research because of lack of communication, but in the end the report will be helpful
Average
Dr. Noyce is very knowledgeable about traffic safety. I think during our project he was too busy with other projects both nationally and internationally. Ours was a small contract, so it seemed to have a lower priority. The graduate students working on the project changed at least a couple of times resulting in delays and inconsistency. The report was very long, too long. There was a definite lack of communication throughout the project. We were not given regular status reports, much less asked to give regular input on how they were developing the report and gathering data. I was pleased with the final report considering the lack of communication during the project. However it is much too long and the writing could have used a good editor to make it more concise and usable.
