Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The goals of this project are to inform Minnesota Council on Transportation Access (MCOTA) members, policymakers, and practitioners of effective options for improving transit services through coordination. This Contract was for continued support for MCOTA activities, which this year includes researching and compiling information regarding two specific transportation coordination tactics: vehicle sharing and competitive brokerages. The University will also conducting research about the costs and benefits for five transportation coordination case studies in Minnesota for MCOTA.
