Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of the contract was to document the state of MnDOT’s Traffic Incident Management (TIM) program, facilitate quarterly meetings with TIM partners, advise MnDOT of new technologies and make recommendations to better TIM procedures.

Due to staff limitations and the need for special expertise, MnDOT was unable to perform this work internally when needed.
