Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: MnDOT is reconstructing TH 95 from approximately Dubuque Street to Point Road as part of the Stillwater Bridge Project. The project includes construction of a new interchange at TH 36 and TH 95, roadway reconstruction and frontage road construction, a new bridge over the St. Croix River, a pedestrian trail extending to the north of the roadway reconstruction to Chestnut Street and south of the roadway reconstruction area to approximately 8th Avenue (it is within the roadway reconstruction area also), storm water ponds, utilities, etc. The purpose of this contract was to complete a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and assist MnDOT with Regulatory approvals as necessary. The intent of this work was to identify to the extent possible any sources of contamination in the project corridor that could impact the project.
