Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of this contract was to assist State staff in preparing technical information in projects files for permanent archiving and associated technical support services at the MnDOT office located on John Ireland Boulevard in St. Paul, Minnesota. Specific tasks included: organizing technical project information for off-site permanent storage and retrieval; recording relevant file information in a tracking document to facilitate document retrieval; preparing project electronic files for archiving into ProjectWise; and general technical support duties. Proper storage and retrieval of the documents is necessary to address future project needs and to provide evidence for future regulatory or legal matters.
