Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: This contract was for the second phase of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Integrated Corridor Management Project. Minnesota was selected as one of three states to participate in this phase which developed and modeled an Analysis, Modeling and Simulation based on data collected and provided to the FHWA.
The Contractor worked with the FHWA to assist in the development of the plan, hosted stakeholder meetings, collected the necessary models from stakeholders and reviewed the final report developed by the FHWA.
The Contract was necessary to continue the work begun in the original ICM project. The Contract was reasonable in order to facilitate and provide a liaison between the MnDOT and FHWA teams working on the project.
