Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Extensive flooding in northeast Minnesota in June 2012 necessitated the initiation of an emergency design contract to rebuild washed out bridges and sections of roadways along Trunk Highway 210 and in the Forbay Lake area. The volume of bridges and roadways affected was so great that consultant assistance was critical to complete the project.
