Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: MnDOT plans to mill and overlay approximately 15 miles of TH 75 from the junction of TH 10 to North of the Clay County Line. In addition to the mill and overlay, MnDOT will be replacing nine (9) centerline culverts and two (2) centerline box culverts. MnDOT will be acquiring additional right of way to complete this work. The purpose of this contract was to complete a modified Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and drilling investigation focusing on the culvert replacement areas and right of way acquisition areas. This information will be used by MnDOT to determine final project design plans / specifications and to obtain liability protections, as necessary.
