Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: AGED provides background check ‘services’ for some other state entities and tribal properties. These other entities send us these fingerprint checks electronically, and we in turn submit them electronically to the BCA/FBI.

Valley Software is our sole source provider that developed and supports this IT program software. Over the course of the contract period, we were required to upgrade our server and the entities also completed upgrades of their systems. Valley Software provided the support services to complete these upgrades. They also provided ongoing maintenance and support as needed.
