Purpose of the contract was to develop a system integration between The Minneapolis Police Department's records management system and the BCA's eCharging system, to submit electronic incident referrals to prosecutors. This has high value in reducing data entry errors, eliminating redundant data entry, and eliminating the need to manually carry charging documents between police and prosecutors, speeding up the process and making it far more efficient for dozens of criminal incidents a day.
