Joint Commission requires that an outside vendor provide this service.

If this was a single source contract, explain why the agency determined there was only a single source for the services (if applicable) The outcome measurement system had to comply with The Joint Commission standards
and therefore we emailed each vendor on the JC website to inquire if they provided
child & adolescent mental health clinical outcome measures.
There were no other vendors at that time who could provide both children's mental health reporting
and the established non-core measures needed to provide continuity of reporting.

Evaluate the contractor's timeliness Provider submitted reports to CABHS and to the Joint Commission on time as required. When CABHS requested special reports (which were allowable under the contract), they always responded in a very timely manner.

Evaluate the contractor's quality Reports included required and requested information, were accurate, and of good quality.

Evaluate the contractor's cost Cost was reasonable. On at least one occasion, vendor decreased the cost to CABHS when volume of clients decreased. Made this modification without being requested!

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Overall performance very good. Reports timely and accurate. Vendor representatives always responsive and easy to work with.
