Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of the contract was to provide on-site audiological services to patients. Services included comprehensive audiological assessment with procurement of hearing aids when indicated. Follow-up services were provided for individuals found to have a hearing loss including hearing aid programming and maintenance, provision of assistive listening devices, and aural rehabilitation/counseling. Drs. were notified of middle ear pathology or recommendations for further evaluation from an ENT specialist.
Mr. Kallaus' primary focus was identifying hearing impairment and developing intervention programs for our patients presenting with significan mental health disorders.

Evaluate the contractor's quality Mr. Kallaus provider an excellent service to our patients. He remained focused on the positive aspects of eact patient's personality and learning style. He was a creative thinker and excellent communicator. He was always seeking a better way to address the unique needs of our hearing impaired patients. He maintained an outstanding rapport with our doctors, nurses, and other program personnel.
