The McKnight Foundation and the Energy Foundation have gifted funds to the Department of Employment and Economic Development for the sole purpose of supporting the work of Collaborative Economics. In addition Collaborative Economics has proprietary data and tested methodology that is not available to state agency staff or other vendors. Collaborative Economics will create with the state a Minnesota Clean Economy Establishments Database for determined segments defined.

The accounting of clean economy business establishments and jobs is based on multiple data sources and they will produce a variety of indicators with the results. They are nationwide leader in this process and have worked with a variety of states including California, Michigan, and Ohio.

The contractor was consistantly timely with regards to bi-weekly project updates and flexable and acommendating to the State project team. The contractor always made good faith efforts to meet project deadlines and when unable to made it clear upfront why and when deadlines would be reached.
The contractor delivered very high quality products and services that met our expections for the project.
The contractor was within the pre-agreed budget and worked the state team to identify cost saving opportunities.
