Project evaluated edge of field runoff from perennial vegetation in an agricultural area. Compared water quantity and quality between convential cropping systems and perennial vegetation system. Also compared treatment effectiveness of runoff from aricultural systems that discharged to perennial vegetation system. Information will be used to inform the TMDL process and provide agricultural producers and watershed managers with specific runoff water quantity/quality and soil characteristics of perennial vegetation systems.
