Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The State is in need of professional technical services of a Project Manager – Business and Data Analysis to assist the State with the associated efforts to optimize and/or reengineer processes and implement the updated requirements for an electronic-based group/family of applications required to perform the increased number of automated functions mandated by federal and state legislation. The new system, Minnesota Licensing and Registration System (MNLARS), would allow for integration of the driver’s license and motor vehicle programs (access from a single display).
