The contractor had good schedule maintenance. The project was not completed within the original schedule because of a drought in a sampling area, which led to many of the creeks being dry in the first year of the grant. The grant will be amended to extend the sampling timeframe.
The contractor adhered to program requirements and accomplished the contract goals. The quality of the deliverables was good.
The contractor had good budget management and was excellent in their handling of invoices.
The Red Lake County SWCD Surface Water Assessment Grant has been a very easy grant to manage. All invoices have been submitted accurately with proper documentation (full disclosure- there was one invoice error of 50 cents). All reports to date have been complete and submitted ahead of schedule. The grantee participates in regular regional trainings to keep her monitoring knowledge and techniques up to date. Overall, this has been an excellent project.
