Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, in-person events cannot be held this year. In order to provide a virtual
event for 300-400 exhibitors and 1,500+ attendees, DEED must contract with a company to host this event on
our behalf. Our current platforms cannot support a virtual event this size that also offer private, face-to-face
virtual interactions with full Section 508 compliance, specifically live captioning. Augeo Marketing has the
CVENT Virtual Hub license and training to facilitate this event with full accessibility.

A bid response was only received from Augeo and in support of this form, promotional authority
justification will be provided as well because of the dollar amount. DEED does not currently have a
license to produce this large-scale event on a virtual platform.
