Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Braun Intertec will complete several groundwater investigation tasks including the installation and sampling of several temporary groundwater monitoring wells along Bunker Lake Blvd near the WDE Landfill. The work also includes arranging access, preparation of drilling specifications, procurement of a well driller, procurement of analytical laboratory and arrange proper disposal of investigation-derived waste. Procurement of subcontractors will follow the guidelines from the state purchasing manual. Braun Intertec will provide a final report with the results of the investigation. Work plan does not include the work of MDH to provide analysis of water samples.
