Despite several reminders to sample earlier in a cycle, the contractor still routinely performs the annual spring sampling event in late May, forcing the annual GW report to be completed in only a few weeks’ time. Quarterly MCES samples are also routinely collected exceptionally late in the sampling cycle, which has caused two permit exceedances now in the last year and a half, rather than collecting samples right away in the quarter if the system is operating well right when a quarter starts.
