The goal of this program is to teach early childhood educators how to navigate the legislative system. This program will empower early childhood educators to share their stories, voices, and priorities effectively to assist state agencies, legislators, community organizations, and other support programs to better partner with early educators to understand and support their needs. This program will contribute to developing the highly skilled, diverse, well compensated educators, children and families deserve, including families in communities which have been underserved in the past. These supports will ensure early childhood workforce priorities are communicated directly from the educators themselves, to address their needs more effectively. This program will impact and improve early educator competencies, recruitment, and retention.
